COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the 1960’s on Allen’s Landing sat Love Street; a hot spot of music and social impact. The venue hosted eclectic characters ranging from open mic’ers to the Lizard King himself. Love Street was not only a place, but a state of mind. A place to unwind and let the music refresh your soul.

Likewise, Love Street is a state of mind. Brewed in the Kolsch-style and hopped delicately with floral German hops, this beer boasts a clean malt proile that refreshes to the core, without sacrificing character. So crack one open and find your own Love Street.

Can shared by Bobby. Clear, light golden pour with a white head. Grainy, sweet aroma. Bread, apple, and grass. Kind of bland. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some grain/bread notes. Apple, grass, and grain husk bitterness/astringency.

355mL can thanks to t0rin0. Pours a clear straw with spotty lacing. Nose is butter, lemon, soap. Taste is cornmeal, biscuit, soap, mild spicy hops. Not much going on.

On tap. It’s a clear, golden beer with a white head. The aroma is a bit weak, with grass, some pine cones and pale malts. There’s some bitterness in the flavor, less than I would like in a summer ale though, and it’s too heavily carbonated, making it quite filling. Medium body, quite dry. Pale malts in the back, grass, some generic fruits and a touch of pine cones in the flavor. Rather short finish. Well... too boring for my likings. 130826

12 ounce can thanks to Errl, poured into a tulip glass. Pours a translucent gold with a big, fluffy white head of foam. The aroma is bready, grassy, grainy, and floral. The taste is creamy and bread. Some lighter yeasty notes come through. Crisp finish. Lighter body and mouthfeel.

On draught at Ginger Man in Houston. The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of toasted malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and slight fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Crisp gold pour with a frothy white head. Nose is sweet malts, light florals, dough, and refreshing. Easy on the palate, grain, florals, sweet, bread, smooth finish. Beats the heat.

A canned kolsch? Very nice. Clear straw-colored pour with a large white head. The aroma is wheat with a little grass and some white grapes. The flavor is pretty similar. The soft wheat and biscuit malt notes compliment a bit of light lemon and yeast notes. I also get a hint of pepper and a tiny bit of grape. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Very tasty light refreshing beer. Crystal clear yellow with a respectable head. Crisp, clean taste with an almost dish soap aroma that doesn't match the taste, which is okay because it tastes great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
