In the 1960’s on Allen’s Landing sat Love Street; a hot spot of music and social impact. The venue hosted eclectic characters ranging from open mic’ers to the Lizard King himself. Love Street was not only a place, but a state of mind. A place to unwind and let the music refresh your soul.

Likewise, Love Street is a state of mind. Brewed in the Kolsch-style and hopped delicately with floral German hops, this beer boasts a clean malt proile that refreshes to the core, without sacrificing character. So crack one open and find your own Love Street.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2015 Can at home. Pours clear golden, fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is grainy light citrus, not much on the nose. Taste is lightly sweet, faint grains. Like a sweeter coors light. Day drinking beer.

On tap at Karbach. Pours a hazy gold with small creamy white head. The aroma is strong wheat grass and pine. Thin mouthfeel with grass and citrus with light bitterness, good.

12 oz can via Suds McDuff. Opened with this last night. Not a style I get excited about much, but I gotta say, it was really nice. Nice soapy white head. Better than an average beer, and a standout in style. Classic clean crisp malt profile and a decent dose of grassy hops. Finishes clean and slightly bittersweet. This would be a great gateway beer for craft newbies."

It's a little thin and blah, even for a kolsch, but it's light and refreshing all the same. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An ale not a lager. Misses the floral that a kolsch should have. Over carbed and to bitter. Foam bubbles to large. Definitely not like a kolsch ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours gold with lasting head. Smell is clean light hops, corn and graininess. Taste is smooth honey grains. Faint balancing hops, but too smooth and lager like for me. I like them crisper and grassier like Austin Beerworks’s anniversary kolsch. Decent and no off flavors but not one of my favorites for the style.

Poured from a can. Nice golden color with light haze and fluffy white head. Smells of straw, bread, and pale malts. The body is light and nicely carbonated. Nice finish leaving a slightly spicy taste. Made for hot summer days in Texas.
