In the 1960’s on Allen’s Landing sat Love Street; a hot spot of music and social impact. The venue hosted eclectic characters ranging from open mic’ers to the Lizard King himself. Love Street was not only a place, but a state of mind. A place to unwind and let the music refresh your soul.

Likewise, Love Street is a state of mind. Brewed in the Kolsch-style and hopped delicately with floral German hops, this beer boasts a clean malt proile that refreshes to the core, without sacrificing character. So crack one open and find your own Love Street.

An ale not a lager. Misses the floral that a kolsch should have. Over carbed and to bitter. Foam bubbles to large. Definitely not like a kolsch ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yellow orange in color... Aroma of apples, light caramel, citrus... Flavor is light apples, citrus, crisp refreshing mouthfeel, light malty finish... Decent ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours gold with lasting head. Smell is clean light hops, corn and graininess. Taste is smooth honey grains. Faint balancing hops, but too smooth and lager like for me. I like them crisper and grassier like Austin Beerworks’s anniversary kolsch. Decent and no off flavors but not one of my favorites for the style.

Poured from a can. Nice golden color with light haze and fluffy white head. Smells of straw, bread, and pale malts. The body is light and nicely carbonated. Nice finish leaving a slightly spicy taste. Made for hot summer days in Texas.

A very good beer, proudly brewed in Houston TX, and personally enjoyed at Boondoggles in Seabrook. Light nose, breast grain smell very mild, straw colored that reminds me of Coors in appearance and taste. A palatable easy drinking beer. Nothing spectacular but a solid contender.

Draft - Very light grain and slight citrus. Pale yellow with no light white head. Light grain, slight bitterness and a clean finish. Decent for the style but nothing unique or outstanding.

Can:   Pale straw, very faint haze, moderate foamy white head, spotty lacing.   Soft sweet grassy nose, a touch dank.   Smooth and grassy on the tongue.   Not as bright or vibrant as others.   A bit mealy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Grass and sweet straw/hay on the finish.   Not as vibrant or bright as most German examples.   Clean, but more grassy than most.   Decent, but not as crisp as others.   Lingering mealy notes, pale grass and hay.   Thanks Bill!

Location: Cans from Spec’s - Galleria, 9/16/13

Aroma: The nose is light and clean, bread, toast, some grass, light fruit
Appearance: Pours a clear gold color with a small white head a mild, spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, clean malts, and some light-plus grassy hop bitterness
Palate: Light and clean body, soft-to-mid carb, easy drinking, not watery, finishes clean and dry
Overall Impression: This is a solid , clean, drinkable, and light summer beer. Well made for the season with a nice hop presence. It may be a touch dull at points, but I could see this as a great outdoor beer on a hot day for sure.

Can shared by Bobby. Clear, light golden pour with a white head. Grainy, sweet aroma. Bread, apple, and grass. Kind of bland. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some grain/bread notes. Apple, grass, and grain husk bitterness/astringency.
