3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mild toasty malt aroma. Pours a dark reddish amber with a light beige head that fizzles away pretty quickly leaving a clean glass behind. Smooth. Earthy. Toasty. Medium to light bodied. Not bad.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It had a very traditional feel to it. Predominantly malty with a slight hoppy hint. Pretty easy to drink. Not too heavy with a light palate and good carbonation. Nice color and foam.

12 oz can purchased as a singe at D&Q - The Beer Station in Houston, Texas. Crafted on 093015. The pour is a clear brown copper with a tan well formed head. The aroma is toasty roast, sweet caramel malt. The taste is the caramel nutty malt, toasty less roast than the nose, and a clean finish. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and and a clean slightly sweet finish. Nice full flavor as it warms.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured beautifully from the can, dark brown with amber edges under a thick light beige head, quick dissipation. Caramel, roasted malt and notes of cocoa in the aroma. Toasted biscuit on the tongue with notes of caramel, cardboard, and coffee...pretty boring but not bad. It’s like Shiner for grownups.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
not a big fan of the Tmavý style, yes, i use the fancy words .. . pours a penny brown .. great foam .. typical caramel and what not amber flavours .. mouth is spot on for the style .. a great example of a dunkel but i don’t really like them so smudge it .. . . Cobblings is the most southern word I’ve ever heard.
