COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a job. And a hazardous one at that. Benefits, you ask? I hardly think so. But the show must go on. So, it’s with bravado that the Rodeo Clown takes his place in the arena lights. Whether or not he’s insane is not important right now. It’s with grit and intensity that the Clown steps in the path of almost certain destruction. Our Double IPA is much the same. At 9.5% ABV, Rodeo Clown Double IPA coats the tongue in bitterness and packs a punch that will knock a bull on its ass . Intense and maybe a little insane drink carefully, but drink often. Ladies and Gentlemen, let the show begin.

Can,11/24/2012, Pours clear amber, medium frothy head with decent retention, watery lacing. Aroma is spicy caramel malts with nice citrus, tropical hop notes- pineapple, melon, orange- pine resin secondary. Taste is sweet caramel malts, blending nicely with big piney, tongue tingling hops, light citrus. Medium palate, avoids being too resinous so pretty smooth and drinkable. Not bad at all.

More like a double malt ipa. Thick and sweet with resin on the finish. Can’t get over how sweet and boozy it is. Not terrible, and I’m glad to have tried it. Gets a decent score for what it is, but I’m not stoked on it.

Bottle at the FF tasting. Poured a chill hazed amber/brown with a full foamy beige head. Aroma of rotting oranges, alcohol, dough. Fuller syrupy body with softer carbonation and a sweet long lasting finish. Flavor of rotting fruit, apricots, tangerine, honey, caramel grains and dough.

Really rich dark amber color with a nice long lasting white head into stemware. Aroma is strong and a combo of hops and malt. Taste is a pretty fresh earthy hops, a little floral? With a nice rich maltiness. Thick with a bit of bubbles. Alcohol after taste.

Cervesa molt equilibrada en general, però té un cop fort de llúpol quan entra a la boca. Cerveza muy equilibrada en general, pero tiene un golpe fuerte de lúpulo cuando entra en la boca.

Opaque orange, smooth light brown lacing foam head. Hoppy aroma without a doubt, same for taste. Some orange tones. Very nice IPA. Gift from Robert. (Houston 201501)

355ml can. Amberish pour, fizzy, soapy white head. The smell is quite sugary, with and underlying of fruity hops. Flavor is intensely orangey, farily acidic, light spice. Too sweet for an ipa for my liking but not necessarily poor.

Base dipa, on tap at the brewery. Can use some aromatic hops. Ok hoppy beer. Liked some of their other hoppy beers.
