COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Itís a job. And a hazardous one at that. Benefits, you ask? I hardly think so. But the show must go on. So, itís with bravado that the Rodeo Clown takes his place in the arena lights. Whether or not heís insane is not important right now. Itís with grit and intensity that the Clown steps in the path of almost certain destruction. Our Double IPA is much the same. At 9.5% ABV, Rodeo Clown Double IPA coats the tongue in bitterness and packs a punch that will knock a bull on its ass . Intense and maybe a little insane drink carefully, but drink often. Ladies and Gentlemen, let the show begin.

Draft at Flying Saucer San Antonio. Hazy to cloudy golden amber color, thick tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of freshly baked brown bread. Taste is yeasty, slightly fruity, spiced and bitter. Nice stuff.

Right after popping this one open there was just a massive amount of peach and pineapple. Theres a big pine aroma here too. The taste is huge tropical fruit, citrus, pine and a slap of bitterness but immediately balanced by a perfectly sweet malt backbone. Really awesome double IPA.

Medium brown pour, tan head. Nose is pine. Bitter. Middle is carmel and soft dark bread with hop jam. Finish is a slap of booze, followed by steady, but not overpowering hoppy bitterness. Formidable brew.

Nasty murky amber brew with off white head that doesnít stick around long. smell and taste is loaded with pine hops. Thick drink that has a little sweet to go along with all the hop bite. Good stuff but can only seem to get it in the CAN!

Big piney hops nose. Pours a kind of murky almost opaque light orange amber with a light tan head that lasts a good while and leaves just a little bit of a ring around the glass. Very smooth. Not overly hoppy but definitely some earthy piney hops at the start with a resiny bitterness on the back. Well balanced with just a hint of sweet. The finish is a nice tingling on the tongue and warming in the throat. I like this.

12 oz. can. Pours hazy amber, thin white head that persists. Aroma is earthy and fruity, some orange notes. Taste is very strong malt backbone, sweetness and some bitterness. Cannot tell the hop family. Like this a lot

Way way to sweet. Go with the other dipa. Not what you want to malt forward and sweet. Nice head that holds on. Sweet very sweet. Malty with a little. Hope red in color pass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours a deep rose color with a thin, lasting white head and some spotty lacing. aroma is strawberries and cream with a hint of orange. creamy mouthfeel. taste has notes of sour fruit, minerals, chalk and orange peel. finish is a bit dull with some alcohol burn. A passable IIPA but nothin fantastic.
