Can - Lemon grapefruit with a lot a lot of lemon. Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Lemony grassy hops and a bit of sourness. Decent but not particularly good.

Pours orange with a large white head. Smells fruity, strong citrus. Taste is bitter citrus and hints of pine. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Karbach Weekend Warrior Pale Ale finishes with a lingering fruity bitterness.

12oz can in a tulip. Pours hazy copper with a lacy, white head. Aroma of citrusy and floral hops, some pale and caramel malts, and light dough. Flavor the same with a nice hoppiness. Average texture. A pretty good pale ale.

12 oz. can from a recent Texas trade- thanks, Brian! Pours a barely cloudy orange with a big, frothy off-white head that leaves heavy lace blotches in the glass. Aroma of big grassy and leafy hops, tea with lemon, grapefruit, and cereal and biscuit malts. Flavor of citrusy and grassy hops, straw, pale and cereal malts, and tea. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a smooth, leafy mouthfeel. Good APA. Drinks easy.

Can:   Pillowy, light, has a powdery aroma and taste to it, much like Danish examples.   Light hop aroma and flavor, minor bitterness, soft sweetness.   Light example, clean, very pale, almost too pale.   Thanks Bill!

12oz can from Zinister. Lighter orange amber brew, clear with Small white head that quickly settles. Light aroma of citrus and fruit. Taste is very light malt at the start with a very restrained fruity hops towards the end. Modest resin at the very end. Well crafted APA with nice flavor that is rather subtle and light. Probably more excellent on a hot day and not in mid winter.

Surprised to see this scored a 51 overall. On tap at the source, Karbach Brewery in Houston, Texas. Pours a hazy copper with a nice frothy head, which provides excellent lacing. Taste is a good balance of malt and hop, malts being caramel and hops light citrus. A good beer IMO.

Thanks to HeffIam for hooking me up with this brew. Saw someone gave this beer a 1.5 below. That seems way off base. Pours lovely orange gold with ample lasting white head. Scent is floral with hint of citrus. Flavor is mildly sweet up front with mild bitter back. Body is cask like. Not sure if by design. Can - Received via trade

Gingerman, Houston tap: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is grassy, slightly floral, and some pale malt. Taste is lightly bitter, but in a grassy somewhat dirty way. There might be some hints of citrus in there, but they are light and poorly defined. This is a forgettable beer.
