Bottle, reviewed from notes, tasted 12/24/2012. Dark muddy brown pour, creamy tan head. Aroma of vanilla, milk chocolate, cinnamon and holiday spices, moderate sweetness. Taste is cinnamon, nutmeg, earthy spices, roasted malts with light chocolate notes, mild bitterness. Medium thick palate, easy to drink. Decent, straightforward holiday brew.

Pours black with a lasting tan head. Sweet spice aroma. Notes of banana bread. Taste is busy but lacks depth. Notes of mint, herbs and ginger. Finish is a bit dull with spices.

22 oz. Bottle from Jamil and the great Republic of Texas! Overall, a great Christmas stouty brew, but a bit thin. Cinnamon scent, nutmeg of medium strength. Black our with a white ring. Light body with a silky texture. Cinnamon flavor, nutmeg, with a bit of a dark chocolate finish.

Bottle. Murky mahogany. Heavy all spice and cinnamon aroma. Same notes in flavor. A little to heavy on the spice for me.

Spice, fruit, malt. Dark brown/black with a quickly dispersing cream colored head. More spice, cocoa, fruit. Glassy smooth, sweet. Very slight bitterness on the very end. This is a really nice beer.

F.U.N. Series #008, 2013- This version is their "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out" winter seasonal that has been Aged in Bourbon Barrels. The beer pours a dark brown color with an off-white head. Some spotty lace left behind. Aroma is full of Christmas spices, cinnamon and some caramel, toffee malt, some vanilla and wood from the barrels. The flavor follows suit. I get a lot of cinnamon and caramel malt, as well as a little bit of nutmeg. There is also raisin notes in the flavor, as well as some other dark fruit. The wood and vanilla come through but dont mix that well, kinda strange and slightly off-putting.

Very dark cherry pour. Medium to thick light brown head. Robust malt aroma with spice and fruit notes. Medium to heavy body. Medium amount of carbonation. Taste starts with specialty malt sweetness and finishes with tart fruitiness. ---Rated via iPhone

Spices??? Plural? Or one. Lots of all spice in flavor and aroma. Otherwise an attractive dark brown leathery color. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
