Hopheads crusade on a heroic quest for the holy grail of India Pale Ales. The subconscious composes paradisiacal scenes of malty waves crashing on a ripe lupulin landscape cascading hop flavors and aromas in profuse abundance. With humble confidence we offer this brew as fantasy made reality. Balanced in every detail and gushing resinous, exceptional citrus flavors and aromas that collaborate with soft bready notes surrendered from premium English golden malted barley, this beer is a tropical dreamscape. Epic.

Pours a cloudy apricot with a well-sized white head. Aroma is sweet, hoppy, and delicious. Flavor is also very hoppy and well-balanced. This is very good flavor - very smooth and very nice. Good pick-up if you’re in the Madison WI area.

This beer is very citrus infused both in taste and smell. Almost as epic as the packaging ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy/hazy yellow-gold with white head. Citrus, lots of citrus, some pine, and some bread on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more citrus. Just fantastic.

Karben4 Fantasy Factory IPA has a thin, off-white head, an initially clear, golden-orange appearance, which gets very murky, once the brown sludge at the bottom of the bottle is swished and poured in. The aroma is of tropical fruit, hop resin, flower nectar, and rather intense hop resin. Taste is of sweet, white bread, sugar crystals, lightly browned bread crust, hop oil, and pine. Mouthfeel is medium, and Karben4 Fantasy Factory IPA finishes dry and drinkable. RJT

Love the hop blend, and the taste. It is slightly cloudy, although as a homebrewer you can easily forgive that. While there is malt, the mouth feel is somewhat watery. All in all this is one of the better IPA’s I have tried!

The first thing that hit me with this beer was a great citrus aroma. The taste followed very well, with a blast of a very refreshing citrus flavor. I’m really liking this one...surprising that it’s not rated higher, but I guess they used to use different hops?

Excellent IPA brewed here in Madison. Might just be the best one around here. Nice orange body. Powerful hoppy earthy aroma. Very tasty. Can?t wait for bottles to come out

On tap at The Free House - Wow, surprised at some of the meh rankings for this one. Pours cloudy amber with a creamy off white head. Nose is huge citrus and tropical fruit, with some notes of pine and dank onion mixed in (though this is real subtle). There’s a dry bread malt base, but the hops are the show here. Super juicy. Taste is a bit more subdued, with the citrus and fruit mixing with the dry bread malt to create a very drinkable IPA that still has an abundance of flavor. If this came in 6 packs I could see it being very dangerous--flavor-packed without causing burnout after a couple. Pretty full-bodied for the style, with ample carbonation that doesn’t get in the way of the flavor. I agree wtih Greg--in the WI IPA landscape, this is a standout.
