Hopheads crusade on a heroic quest for the holy grail of India Pale Ales. The subconscious composes paradisiacal scenes of malty waves crashing on a ripe lupulin landscape cascading hop flavors and aromas in profuse abundance. With humble confidence we offer this brew as fantasy made reality. Balanced in every detail and gushing resinous, exceptional citrus flavors and aromas that collaborate with soft bready notes surrendered from premium English golden malted barley, this beer is a tropical dreamscape. Epic.

This beer is very citrus infused both in taste and smell. Almost as epic as the packaging ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy/hazy yellow-gold with white head. Citrus, lots of citrus, some pine, and some bread on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more citrus. Just fantastic.

The first thing that hit me with this beer was a great citrus aroma. The taste followed very well, with a blast of a very refreshing citrus flavor. I’m really liking this one...surprising that it’s not rated higher, but I guess they used to use different hops?

Excellent IPA brewed here in Madison. Might just be the best one around here. Nice orange body. Powerful hoppy earthy aroma. Very tasty. Can?t wait for bottles to come out

On tap at The Free House - Wow, surprised at some of the meh rankings for this one. Pours cloudy amber with a creamy off white head. Nose is huge citrus and tropical fruit, with some notes of pine and dank onion mixed in (though this is real subtle). There’s a dry bread malt base, but the hops are the show here. Super juicy. Taste is a bit more subdued, with the citrus and fruit mixing with the dry bread malt to create a very drinkable IPA that still has an abundance of flavor. If this came in 6 packs I could see it being very dangerous--flavor-packed without causing burnout after a couple. Pretty full-bodied for the style, with ample carbonation that doesn’t get in the way of the flavor. I agree wtih Greg--in the WI IPA landscape, this is a standout.

On tap, been wanting to try this one for awhile now, glad I finally got the chance, pours a hazy orange with a thick white head with lots of lacing, the aroma is huge, tons of citrus and mango and other tropical fruits, but not wet and dank hops, really fresh and bright, the flavor is much of the same, citra overload on the front end with a crisp finish, malt is light and crisp in the finish and doesn’t get in the way, bright mouthfeel and finish, damn guys, well done.

On tap at Dexters. Pours an orangey copper with a bit of a white head. Aroma has fresh fruit, citrus, pine and a touch of caramel. Taste is of sweet luscious fruits, led by mangoes & pineapple. Some grapefruit and lemon zest show up nicely. Very citra heavy, but perhaps a nice mosiac blend in there as well?? Just the touch of caramel in the backbone, but this is very hop forward, and the sweetness comes mostly from the hops. Medium bodied and just a bit sticky. Finishes well balanced between hoppy bitter and hoppy sweet with some length and some stickiness. This was very well done. 15+

Poured at Brocach in Madison. Nice deep golden colour with a bit of haziness. Good 1/2 inch head which settled nicely to a good steady head. Good lacing on the glass. Good solid IPA taste with just enough hoppiness. Not overwhelming - in a good way. Good mouthfeel and short aftertaste. Definitely worth a second glass!
