COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours out of the bottle in a cloudy dirty ligth amber colour with steady head and smooth body. Aroma of yeast and overripe fruits. Taste of yeast, wheat, bread, caramel, fruit salad and bananas. Not my kind of beer.

Burgers (322) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 30, 2014
Hazy golden body with phenomenally thick white head that slowly fades. Aromas of bread, yeast and faint sulphur. Taste light sweetness and bitter. Prolonged carbonation. Finish bittersweet.

edpeg (828) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAY 30, 2014
Light orange cloudy yeasty body with white creamy head. Aroma is bananas, honey melon, citrus, and vanilla. Palate is slick, oily, mouthful and little tart. Carbonation is mouthful, soft and smooth. Taste is sweetish, wheat malty, yeasty, with hints of grassy hops and dryness. Finish is medium dry, with sweet licorice, wheat maltiness and fruitiness with some citrus.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

McWorta (591) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 22, 2014
Dark pillowy white head with light yeast haziness and bright amber coloured, no CO2. Noses of hay, flowery hops, Litschi, clove, cabbage and white wood (carpenter). Soft texture, lightly bitter a bit astringent combined with some sweetness and a medium-full body. Astringent finish with a touch of acidity, beer of character and polarising.

Bottle at Ericht Ale House, Blairgowrie. Hazy pale yellow, thick white head. Aromas of banana and clove, nice yeastiness. Really like the nose, good change from christmas beers and lagers. Taste has bread, more light spice, sweet finish, and a little thin, but good.

jamestulloch (1384) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 17, 2013
Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy golden body with a pillowy white head that slowly fades. Lively carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of stainless steel, blood and yeast. Flavour of boiled cabbage, pear and earth. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation fizz. I tried this only two weeks before its best before date, so maybe it had deteriorated a bit, but I really wasn’t impressed with this - it’s watery, vegetal and just plain dull.

WillemsUrenkel (511) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - DEC 6, 2013
0,5 l bottle with an overloaded lable art design. Not cloudy, no, milky in the glass. Very small head for a Weizen. Low carbonation. Modest sweet fruity, more yeasty on the nose. Starts with a little bit sweet banana. Followed by a light yeasty sourness. Watery! Big disappointment. Don´t think that something with the bottle is wrong. Best before date 14.03.14.
