UPDATED: JAN 3, 2014 500ml bottle. Aroma is light hay and very light algy. However not bad. Appearance is almost pale golden with a nice foam. Taste is light sour and sweet. Has a light bitter mouth feel. Overall an okay Weißbier.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow/light brown. Aroma of banana and clove with sour fruit and a little alcohol. Taste is yeast dominated, banana and clove with a big earthy finish. Thin bodied and an undying dirty yeast linger. Not my idea of a good time

It’s unclear orange-golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of banana, yeast and wheat. The sweet flavor has initial notes of tea (but only when quite cold), yeast, banana and wheat, and the finish is spicy and slightly dry.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Banana, clove and bready yeast. A nice hefe.

Rating #705, bottle from Pi Pa Po Biere, Berlin

Straw-yellow appearance, ok head. Nice and fresh aroma with hay, banana, hops and everything nessecary in a hefe. Taste is a little boring though, hay and a bit alcohol. Nice bitter finish. All in all a nice one.

Light spicy and fruity aroma, more notes of wheat. Hazy folden color, foamy head. Light yeasty, light fruity and mild spicy flavor. Average Hefeweizen.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Very special Weizen, not for everyone, but worth a try! Amber colour, unfiltered. Astonishing earthy hints of Jerusalem artichoke on top of pepper, clove, ripe banana / Maraschino cherry aroma, wheat and brown butter (!) in the finish. Slightly alcoholic nose. More bitter and dry than one would expect. Tangy carbonation, just right for my taste. Not "pleasant" for Weizen newbs, but a welcome deviation from the average for the experienced aficionado :)
