COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught at GBBF 2011. Cloudy, dark orange colour with large white head. Aroma is fresh, wheaty, slight bananas, slight cloves. Taste is refreshing and immediately very drinkable. Very slightly citrusy, other fruit in there apple perhaps. A slightly sour aftertaste. Light bodied.

Riecht süß-fruchtig mit dem Einschlag von Mirabellen. Auftakt süßlich-gestreckt.

Test vom 26.11.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,8,8,13,8 - 8,45

500ml bottle. Mindestens Haltbar bis: 04.11.11. It has a lot of sediment and pours a murky gold. The smell is peachy and mango-y, rare for a hefeweissbier, it seems to abandon the usual banana. It also has a bunch of sweetness in the smell. There is also a bit of sulphr and bubblegum. The flavor is super wheaty. It tastes like bread with some bitter hops thrown in. This beer is all over the place. If you want to try something new reach for it, otherwise it is merely a fucked up weissbier.

Blairgus (2728) - California, USA - MAY 20, 2011
20 May 2011, bottle. appearance is a very murky tannish banana smoothie w/ frothy white head. spicy coriander and some banana as well on the nose. not as big or sweet as i like in a hefe. full body and fairly fizzy. very nice body. yeasty w/ a soft spicy banana flavour. nothing big or special but i think a very good standard for a hefe.

AshtonMcCobb (2924) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 3, 2011
50cl bottle. Pours a beautiful golden/orange with steady bubbles and a nice head. The nose has ripe bananas, some delicate spice (maybe cinnamon or nutmeg. The taste has bananas, it’s slightly creamy with some vanilla. The palate has a medium to big structure, a creamy texture and a lovely refreshing finish. The overall impression is that this is a great example and very sessionable.

50cl bottle. Poured hazy orange with a white head, not much lacing. High carbonation. Aroma is banana and some spicyness. Flavor is more dull, ripe banana and water melon, some sourness towards finish. Drinkable, not very memorable.

500 ML Bottle in Germany. Pours a deep heavy orange-light brown haze. Head is beige and lacy. Aroma is banana and yeast, soft and mello. Mouth feel is very well done. Smooth and little carbs. Taste is wonderful and very easy to drink. Palate is disappointing with a slight sour bite at the end. Overall a very nice Hefe.
