2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Starts quite yeasty, really dry and a bit floury. Fruity notes of apricot in the background. Finish a bit moldy, still floury and dry. Not my favourite!

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a very cloudy amber color with a fluffy white head that falls down to almost nothing. Aroma is very complex with notes of orange citrus, banana fruit pulp, modest clove spice, lots of yeasty character and a wheat note that isn’t dominate but does show up very smoothly. Beer starts off with a mild orange and wheat flavor that moves into a pretty spicy clove middle and finishes with a mild smooth sweetness. Body on this brew is fairly heavy due to the huge amount of yeast that lends a very creamy texture while you drink. Overall I am normally not a fan of the hefe style but this is really what hefes should be like. Sweet, slightly spicy and a mouthful due to the high density of yeast in your glass. Great brew.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had this at the brewery in Murnau
Very nice fresh weissbier. Great aroma with clove, banana and bubble gum, even lychee fruit. I stumbled upon this place while walking the city and wish I had more time to try the other beers.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught, one-third pint at GBBF 09. Cloudy, orange-yellow content topped by a thin, bubbly hue. Lighter aroma of citric fruits. Slightly smoked malty to the nose with hints of dark spices and a touch of late banana. Subdued wheaty notes. Rather diluted in the mouth. Not more than alright for a German weissbier (Earls Court, London 04.08.2009).

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
0.5 l bottle from Beerangel. Deep yellow brown color with frothy white head. Thick aroma with wheat, banana, vanilla, clove and pepper. Wheaty, grainy and bready flavor with ripe banana, clove and pepper.
The finish is surpringly watery after such a rich aroma. The aroma promises more but this is still a good weizen.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy orange gold with a large white head. Aroma of old books topped with yeast, fruit and bacon. Sour wheaty taste, some cloves, and a metallic, artificial sweetener quality that prevents me really liking this. Some bitterness. The taste is slightly harsh.
