An average lager, not distinguishable from so many other boring beers. However, if you’re stuck in Sweden and Systembolaget has closed, this is a good bet.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2005 (Can 50 cl) Pretty pilsener-golden colour and a nice and quite stable head. Actually rather tasty with a good balance between malts and hops. But naturally for such a light beer it lacks a lot in body. 270804

Golden color, lively carbonation. Head vanished fastly. Sweet, malty and mildly tangy aroma. Differs not very much from Karhu III. High carbonation, watery mouthfeel with thin body. Ends with basic estery Karhu-flavor, slightly hopped and some carbonation bite can be noticed too.

Canned. Contains antioxidant E222. A low quality standard megalager. Don’t bother.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2003 This one really sucks. I got suspicious when I saw the pale golden color, and the head disappearing in a few seconds. But it was even worse. Aroma was exactly like when you have to take the garbage out the morning after having shrimps. And there was no flavor at all. Just water, very thin. How could they possibly make a beer from water only smell this bad?

Golden beer. Malty, grainy aroma with tones of cornflakes. Sweet. Didn´t make anyone happy. Useless facts include Karhu means beer in finnish which is a strange and interesting language. Far more than the beer.

Blond beer with a medium disappearing head. Weak hop aroma. The taste is hop and yeast. Flat and uninteresting.

Not much going on here. Light golden with no/small head. Aroma of carbonation? Do not taste much. Lightbodied and boring. Weak and watery finish.
