Bottled. Deep coppery coloured Korpisavu IV is strange combination of strong finnish lager with artificial smoke aroma which makes this quite odd blend. You can definitely feel the fake taste of smoke and it’s quite bothering. Not a very good beer.

In bottle at Craig’s, thanks Franz. A golden rauchbier with a lacy white head. Smoky pea and ham soup nose,. A little sweet. Flavours of sweet caramel and lots of smoked malt. Quite thin but not too shabby.

Bottled, tasting at cgarvieuk, courtesy of house mate. Clear golden colour, off-white head. Nose is smoky, ham, wood. Flavour is light malted, smoky, salami, wood, bit salty.

Pours red copperish with offwhite head. Hard to notice any particular aroma but faint smokiness and maltiness. The better in flavor though. Lovely malty breadiness well supported by a nice smokish bitterness.
