2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear amber color, topped with a small white frothy head. Grainy malt aroma, sugar and some caramel. Taste is pure malty sweet, some hints of bitterness in the finish and a bit boozy. A bit metallic aftertaste. If you want to get wasted it will do, otherwise nothing special. Not unpleasant.

0,33L can (from SuperAlko, Tallinn). Pours clear red copper with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is metallic, malt, maize, and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, maize, alcohol, malt. Overall: it’s a malt liquor tick!

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
33cl can. Rich copper color, thin head. Malty, bitter and loaded with alcohol. Thin, watery, fizzy pop like beverage. Why 1.9 and not 1 - it is well balanced, and drinkable when cold. It is so nasty, that is good.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear, copper red beer with a beautiful beige head. Nice sweet and fruity aroma. Lots of caramel, some toffee, malt, bread and some alcohol but it’s pretty nicely hidden. Wow what a surprise. I thought this would be awful but it’s actually pretty nice and many times better than the regular strength Karhu. Nice!

33cl bottle at Viking Xprs. Pours clear amber to ruby with a minimal white head. Malty aroma with caramel, some fruity notes and hints of hops. Fairly sweet and malty. A bit over the top, but still drinkable.
