COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Less would be enough. With its rich copper colour Tosi Vahva (Special Strength) Karhu is generously malted and flavoured with the best hops. It is a balanced, special strength and full-bodied beer.

There is a 8.8 % version of this, which is sold in the Tax Free shops on the cruiseships from/to Finland. Ratings should, however, be put under this entry.

Bottle. Copper amber, clear. Nose has sweet malts, corn, lager cleaness. Nutty (peanuts, light nuts), some caramel. Very bock-like. Body is full, malts, alcohol, some corn, some malty sweetness. Hottish finish. Well bittered. Some hoppy remnants. Not overly bad, but a bit too hot. Drinkable still, to my surprise.

Bottle, shared at VANØ Bergen’s summer party. Clear light bronze body, small white head. Nose is marzipan, caramel and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet grainy marzipan-like tones. Hints of caramel. Medium body and carbonation. Weird, mostly.
