Not much different from original Karhu. Maybe little less sweetness. I think Double hops means that there is two different hops. Not double quantity.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
1 pint can from local supermarket. Decent head, lots of bubbles, colour is darkish yellow. Looks like the ordinary Karhu beer, but taste is much lighter. There is some faint aftertaste of hoppiness, though. Quite different from what I expected (i.e. not twice as hoppy as the normal Karhu).

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very malty as the normal Karhu but a nicer hoppy flavour. Not much of difference to the original but better anyway.

Just as dull and tasteless as regular Karhu III. I regret buying this beer.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUL 15, 2013 Clear golden color with medium head. Aroma is malt, hint of hops. Flavor is malt, sweet, slightly hops. Only bit better than basic Karhu III.
Retest: not bad on hot summer day.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Slightly reddish color, a bit darker compared to normal Karhu. Nose is light, indifferentcto normal Karhu. Taste is evercso slightly bitter with a hint of caramel. Nothing special.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
568ml can. Clear golden, thin white head. Starch, grain and metal in nose. Flavor has some weak fruity hoppines at first, then the harshness kicks in big time. Awful finish. Ugly.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
568ml can from Alepa
Pours clear golden with a large head. Aroma of starch, hay, metallic notes and hints of vegetables. Taste is crisp with hints of hay, grass, starch and vegetables. Finishes with dry, bready and starchy notes. Not that different from the regular one, this one is probably more fresh and you can actually notice some distant hints of hops. Why did I even bother to buy this?!

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can. Golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light, malty - grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, no bitterness. Body is light, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor. Finish is short to average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, some sharp metal, faint grassy hoppyness. Guys from marketing surely had fun time when naming this one.

Bought this without reading anything about it. Poured in a pilsner glass and took a mouthfull with a deep breath. What a disappointment! I´ve tasted so many good SAAZER- and GOLDING-beers so I had my expectations way too high. Booring, typical Finnish piss-lager-beer.
