Pours golden color with a small head. Aroma of grass, mild hops, caramel and fruits. Flavor is the same with some toffee.

Draught@Colorado, Pori. Pours light golden almost without head. Rather pleasant and a bit metallic aroma of sweet malt and some toffee. Taste of sweet and bready malt and some grassy hops. Watery with low carbonation. Quite ok pale lager but not very special.

Draught at Sadonkorjuu 2008, Porvoo. Golden color with small head. Malty and honeyish aroma with hints of sulphur. Malt, honey, toffee, low bitterness and some tart fruitiness in the flavor. Dull, no hops and no firm maltiness either.

Tight lasting head, basic golden color. Cheap, metallic, unpleasant aroma. Basic pale lager flavor, slightly sharp. Very, very boring.

(Draught@Sadonkorjuu, Porvoo) Slightly hazy golden with a small head. Toffee-malty aroma with clear diacetyl presence. Lemony-pale-malty flavor with quite low, grassy-aromatic bitterness. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. A basic lager at heart, but I kinda liked the toffee and diacetyl. Certainly preferable to Karhu.

Thin and fucking boring, useless product with a fancy name, would have thought I would at least be able to differentiate this from the run of the mill finnish lagers but nope.

Draught@Herman, Turku. Golden colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is bready malts along with nice grassy hops and also some slight fruityness (probably from the yeast). Flavour is malty, hoppy and slightly fruity. A very refreshing lager

Draught @ Schönes Fraulein, Helsinki. This is so close to Koff I just have to copy the rating from there: "Looks ugly. Smells feet and yeast, unfermented. It tastes the same, with some dirt in the finish. Unfortunately for this beer, the finish is long. Oh shit this is bad." However, it did get better grades (Koff had 0,7)

keg 500ml 6€ at Shcönes Fraulein Helsinki 220808 golden yellow fizzy. Taste hint of grain bit hops thin. No remarkable aftertaste. I was asking half pint and 500ml is the smallest glass size. Shame but I don’t need this kind more.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2009 Keg (Schönes Fraulein, Helsinki)
Orangy, no head. Non-descript aroma. Light lageriness at best. Very thin taste, some sweet fruity component, I guess. Thin palate, too fizzy. Almost no finish - perhaps a hop was detected once. (4-3-4-3-6=1.8)
Rerate: 2009-01, revised recipe allegedly. (5-2-5-2-8=2.2)
Phil says cauliflower with cheese sauce and mustard, and Anna says cottage cheese, as the aroma. Phil says floral shampoo (not soap) for the taste. Slightly lactic palate. Some tingle of hops. Quite refreshing.
