0,5L bottle. Quite strong yeast and hop aroma. Taste is different than other Estonian beers. Stronger taste and not watery. Woody, grassy maybe little fruity. Finish is sweet and not so mild. Somehow i feel strong carbonated bubbles. Sometimes drinkable beer. Price is not normal for this beer. Too expensive for beer like this.

bog-standard estonian PL, with some minimal chalkiness on the finish preceded by a bit of almost sugary sweetness. Overall a thin, watery PL, definitely not recommended

Bottle. Clear yellow/light copper color. Disappearing foamy white head. Aroma of bread, hay and hops. Some caramel flavor. Watery but doesn’t taste bad at all.

500ml bottle (Regalia, Tallinn) (6:2:4+:2+:10-=2.4+)
Rich yellow, adn a huge persistent rocky head. Not bad for a pale lager. Aroma’s quite respectable too. Initially it was a bit raw in the malts department, but in the glass an almost gingery spicy aroma of hops came across. A little quirky in the taste, there are some strange chemical retronasals, almost sacchariney, but they’re not actually bad. Not good either, but at last not bad. Palate is slightly watery, just enough residuals to fill it out and stop it being watery. Carbonation’s good, makes it a refreshing summer pale lager. Finish is a little wet cardboardy. Late finish has some pork scratchings fat/skin. Relatively clean compared to traditional Karksi - presumably the new A le Coq influence is upping the industrial quality of their process. However, it’s a bit gutless, so not exciting me at all. However, I think it would be a step up taste-wise for the pissy macro drinkers, having recognisable beer ingredients, so I’m trying to be positive about it. I would hope that the aroma would excite them, it is actually quite good!

0,5l bottle (brewed in Karksi, but bottled in Tartu by A Le Coq). Clear dark yellow color. Medium white head, quite nice actually. Malty metallic aroma. Sugary, malty, watery, syrup? in flavor.

Your run-of-the-mill macro. Some grains, weak hops, thin watery body, carbonation on the aggressive side. Very bland, even for a macrolager.

Back label: Brewed by Karme, bottled by A. Le Coq. Golden body, small head. Not buttery this time, like I remember all Karksi beers to be. However, now that A. Le Coq has taken over 49% of Karme, this one tastes generic and metallic, like most A Le Coq’s pale lagers. No reason to buy this again.
