1L plastic bottle. Dark brown color. Very small fizzy head, disappears quickly. Bread in aroma. Sour, apples, bread, buttery body. Sweet finish. Easy to drink.

thirstyrabbit (541) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 30, 2010
1L bottle. Brown body, some head forms if poured fast. Aroma is weak but malty. Taste is pretty sweet and buttery. Needs less sugar and some bitterness instead. Still, it feels more natural than most kvass drinks.

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 8/20
FatPhil (6219) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 29, 2010
1l bottle (Rimi, Tallinn)
5 Slightly sour lemony initial punch (not as bit as a punch, more of a pinch). Rich treacly malts too, but there’s something odd, perhaps a bit farty or rotton.
3 Rich red, floaty specs, whih turn out to be sinky bits. Brief fizzy head.
5 Treacly and slightly acidic, a touch of lemon. A bit homebrewy.
3 Slightly watery. Carbonation low, but sharp in combination with the acidity.
8 Has some nice aspects, but too many flaws. Still, good to see a proper traditional kali still being marketted.

estpiwo (987) - ESTONIA - AUG 23, 2010
Only real Estonian kali. Other ones are from Ukraine( Saku) or Lithuania or Belarus. Not so artificial, not so sweet, rather sour. Drinkable. But it not beer, only malty drink.
