0,5l bottle. Dark red color. Small head, disappears quickly. Hints of caramel in aroma. Very easy to drink. Although its 7% you barely notice it. Somewhat raw.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Bottle. Thanks to SaintMatty) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with dark bread, ryvita, toasty malt and raisins. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of dark bread, ryvita, brown sugar, raisins, prunes and a touch of orange. Light spice in the finish. Slightly more than medium body, quite sweet. No porter in my book, more like a dunkel bock. Decent though.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled, thanks SaintMatty! Clear dark amber, small head. Buttery nose. Sugary cellar flavour. Sweet with medium body, notes of perfumy apples, aging butter and stale dust. More of a sweet dunkel than a Baltic porter, but so it is in the Baltic countries.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. Deep ruby red colour, small off-white head. Aroma is enormous syrup, some some sap, mild spruce as well as maple. Flavour is syrup, some mild sour wooden notes as well as burnt sugar as well as some other extreme sweetness.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2011 1L plastic bottle. Pours a light warm brown. Bready, yeasty aroma. Soft carbonation, tastes of grain. Reminds me of kvass. I expected it to be a Baltic Porter, but that is not the case here. And I agree with the "did they forget to finish brewing this?" comment, it does seem to be a bit on the raw side.
Re-rate: Well, still not a porter but a sticky-sweet dunkel. Less raw grains this time, but it’s overly sweet. As a dunkel, it’s OK, but a bit boring. Did I mention it’s too sweet?

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2011 1L plastic bottle. The name says "porter" but that’s not my idea of a porter at all. However, it is a good dunkel. Dark reddish body with no head. Aroma has malt and some sourness. Taste is simplistic but pretty full - there’s malt and some buttery notes. It has low carbonation but that makes it very easy to drink. Re-rate, 02.03.11: It feels really raw and weird this time. There is a small head when poured but the taste is yeasty and unfinished. The flat carbonation is annoying this time. Similar to Karksi Tume. No hint of the 7% ABV. Is it really that strong?

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2010 1l plastic bottle - shared by SaintMatty at HBF2010 - many thanks!
5 Huge but unsophisticated grainy aroma
4 Deep brown, small loose head
5 Outragiously raw grainy taste. Did they forget to finish brewing this
2 Too sweet and underfemened. Finish reasonably hoppy, and green , but perhaps a bit papery
10 Simple, a touch rough, but flavoursome
Rerate: 500ml bottle (Kaubamaja, Tallinn) (5-:4:4:2:8)
Oooh, this is vegetal. Both aroma and taste. Feels watery and thin, which I guess means it covers the alcohol well. That’s not enough to save it. Erk!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Plastic bottle. Dark red color. Malty aroma. Flavor is too sweet for me. So many raisins or fruits, mot so many roasted malts. But not bad, drinkable. Beer from little brewery!

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
1 l PET bottle, thanks SaintMatty! Reddish brown color. Toffeish and worty color with green apple. Sweet, worty and toffeish flavor with hint of licorice, rye and chocolate. No hops. Brings kvass or kotikalja to mind. Tastes somewhat stale.
