Bottle from Beverages4Less in Santee.Pours copper with a huge frothy off-white head. Great floral aroma. Full bodied, almost, with rather mild carbonation. Flavor is floral hop and the malt is definitely in the minority. It’s not harshly bitter, but it is very bitter. The finish leaves nice hoppiness throughout the mouth. In the end it is very grapefruit rind.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Lubiere (8243) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 6, 2009
An amber IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, nice pungeant c-hops with loads of tropical fruits, menthol, alcohol warmth. In mouth, a good intense double IPA with loads of malts, herbal hops, meaty notes, pink grapefruits. Intense and rich. On tap at Ballast Point 13 Anniv. Beer Festival , Oct. 24 2009.

Bottle… RBWG ‘10… Clear golden ale with a nice, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. The aroma is a mélange of earthy, piny, citrusy hops with just a kiss of butterscotch. Full-bodied and ultra creamy with soft carbonation. The flavor offers some nice, earthy bitterness, but overall, it’s way too sweet for a double IPA - even for me, the ultimate malt head. Tasty, though. Lengthy, sweet finish. Kudos to growler for popping the top on this one.
