From the tap poured a dark brown color with a good amount of head. Nice fruity toasted malt flavor with a lasting finish.

Sampled at Sorrento Mesa location. Dark brown color with a small beige head. Flavor starts malty with chocolate pudding and a hint of cola and finishes with a light bitteerness. Medium body is smooth with soft carbonation.

Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Sweet caramel and bubble gum aroma and taste with a smooth finish.

Draft @ Karl Strauss downtown San Diego. Interesting mix between a Dunkelweizen and a Schwarzbier, nicely malty and oaky-bitter. Food Pairing: BBQ Pork Sandwich.
