Bottle from Henry’s. Light yellow on pouring. Slightly sweet grainy aroma, very light. More flavorful than most beer super light beers. Still it is what it is, a light beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 badlizard (5158) - Berkeley, California, USA - JUN 30, 2007
On tap at Karl Strauss. Clear light yellow with creamy white head. Bready malty aroma. Biscuity taste with a slight spice in the finish.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Norton (325) - Southside, Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 24, 2007
Draft. Pale gold, slightly cloudy color. Not much head. Aroma is a teeny bit floral. Decent tartness in a bready sense, which appeals to me. Goes down easy. Not the least bit offensive except for the absurdly low alcohol content.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 riversideAK (5413) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 12, 2007
It’s a light pale lager, so there really is not much aroma, but it does smell like a beer and not like an adjunct filled BMC. The light golden appearance is characteristic of the style. Flavor is slight breadiness, a little hop crispness, and some carbonated water. Not the most complex brew obviously but way better than crappy mass produced pale lagers.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 IrishBoy (3617) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAR 11, 2007
Draft at Disney’s California Adventure; nose of grain and very light hops;clear gold with a small white head; flavor is just blah grains with some light citrus hop bitterness, better than macros, but the worst Strauss beer I’ve had!
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Tmoney99 (8780) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 10, 2007
Bottle at event in San Diego, CA. Poured straw color with a small white head that diminished quicky with minimal lacing. Light aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture. Light citurs flavor with a short finish. Worth drinking once.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 burpfrank (299) - carpinteria, California, USA - JUL 23, 2006
This was weak in all areas. It was better than the standard fare of COORs or budweiser,It wasn’t good enough for me to seek.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 SDalkoholic (1768) - Chula Vista, California, USA - JUL 15, 2006
Bottle: Has a weak aroma of grain but differes from all other lights because it doesnt smell fake. The drink is tamed and very relaxed in its character of flavors by only allowing a light grained malt backbone. Crisp and clean finish which makes this above avergae in a category of light beers. Straw gold with small film of foam. I wouldn’t mind seeing this at more stores so i could pick it up for the light drinkers i know.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 26, 2006
On tap at the Old Columbia location. Bitterness is at 15 IBU’s and the lack of malt cannot support even this level of hops. Pale yellow with a white head. Lacks the nasty corn or rice adjunct aroma, but the body is just as meaningless as a BMC. For a Karl, this sucks.
