On tap at Karl Strauss Carlsbad. Pale yellow color. Small creamy white head. Some low bitterness. Very light sweetness.

From the tap poured a clear golden color with a fair amount of head. light refreshing flavor with a quick finish.

Clear golden with a medium slightly white head. Aroma had hints of chlorofone, malt and vague grassy hops. Malty flavour with floral hops, mild diacetyl and caramelish notes. Finished semi dry and slightly bitter.

This was weak in all areas.It was better than the standard fare of COORs or budweiser,It wasn’t good enough for me to seek.

Draft @ the brewpub, San Diego, CA. Pours a pale yellow color with a white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty grainy flavor. has a fruity malty grainy finish.

on tap-pours a white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is light malt/grain-sweet. Taste is light malt/grain-sweet, secondary light hops (saaz). Light body.

Bottle: Has a weak aroma of grain but differes from all other lights because it doesnt smell fake. The drink is tamed and very relaxed in its character of flavors by only allowing a light grained malt backbone. Crisp and clean finish which makes this above avergae in a category of light beers. Straw gold with small film of foam. I wouldn’t mind seeing this at more stores so i could pick it up for the light drinkers i know.

Draft. Pale gold, slightly cloudy color. Not much head. Aroma is a teeny bit floral. Decent tartness in a bready sense, which appeals to me. Goes down easy. Not the least bit offensive except for the absurdly low alcohol content.

This light was tasted at the brewery on B and Columbia in San Diego. It was a typical light beer very little taste. I am not a fan of any light beers.

No aroma. Light color. Very thin and ricy, not so good. Has a small bite at the end that keeps it interesting. Very smooh. I would maybe rather drink this than the Woodie Gold.
