draft at brewpub - I dont have much to say about this one. Its about what Id expect from a light pale lager that at least avoid adjuncts. Its thin, sweet, and bland.

Draught at Karl Strauss La Jolla: Golden color, no nose or flavor. Just a adjuncty lager with overtones of bland. 2.8% ABV? Whats the point..

On tap at the Old Columbia location. Bitterness is at 15 IBUs and the lack of malt cannot support even this level of hops. Pale yellow with a white head. Lacks the nasty corn or rice adjunct aroma, but the body is just as meaningless as a BMC. For a Karl, this sucks.

On tap at the Hotel Del Coronado. Very disappointing. I had no idea how light this was. I mine as well have ordered a Perrier. No aroma to speak of. Taste is flat with little to no umph. Id tear this down and start all over.

Am I seeing this correctly? Am I drunk? 2.8%? I thhought it would be at least 3%.....hahahaha. Very mild and bland. I would still drinl it over coors light anyday.

Its a light pale lager, so there really is not much aroma, but it does smell like a beer and not like an adjunct filled BMC. The light golden appearance is characteristic of the style. Flavor is slight breadiness, a little hop crispness, and some carbonated water. Not the most complex brew obviously but way better than crappy mass produced pale lagers.

Tap La Jolla. Pale pale pale yellow. Crisp but kind of stinky lager aroma. Flavor is lightly bitter, stale hops, light malt.

Draught at Karl Strauss La Jolla. Clear golden color without much nose or flavor. I detected some sweet corn from time to time and it smelled a bit like fresh hay. Very watery. Bleh.

Draft. Pours clear very pale gold with a fizzy white head. Almost no aroma. Tastes like buttery musky corn, pale malts, straw. Light body and low carbonation.
