Jan 24, 2006 Tap - Karl Strauss has made a nice golden beer with a smooth, malty taste. The alcohol is just enough to be a bit warming and is fairly well masked. The flavor could stand to be a bit more aggressive, but it’s good.

Jun 20, 2004 Pours a gold color with a nice sized off-white head. Aroma is grainy and brewery-ish. Alcohol in the nose as well. Flavor is malty but little else to note. Alcohol is prevalant. Smooth body. Decent.

Feb 9, 2004 Best thing about this one is that it's high in alcohol. Good malty body for a copper beer. And I mean new copper like you see at Home Depot before the plumber gets his doped up hands all over it. Great yeast this brewery has, adds a griany/butterscotchy flavor that I love.
