When the Mosaic hop first came on the scene, our brewers couldnít wait to get their hands on some. Mosaic Session Ale is bursting with vibrant grapefruit aroma and flavor waves of citrus and tropical fruit. Our signature dry-hopping technique delivers an incredibly drinkable, lower ABV beer, without sacrificing hop appeal. From a small test batch to the bottle you now hold in your hands, this isnít a one-and-done beer. Sit back, have a few, and enjoy your session.

22 oz bomber from whole foods SB. Pours clear yellow that becomes more cloudy as it warms up. Fresh hop aroma upon bottle opening . Fresh fruit-filled hop flavor that blossoms as it warms. At 5.5 Abv this is a much more flavorful session IPA than the 4-5% ers that tend to be overly dry and harsh . This session beer actually tops more fuller bodied Brews and I can see why it won GABF bronze for a session ale. Delicious and highly recommended ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle. Clear, orangey, pale golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Gigantic citrusy hoppy, tropical fruity aroma, notes of grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, some pineapple, orange zest, marmalade. Taste is slightly sweet pale malty, fruity, citrusy hoppy overtones, notes of mango, grapefruit and lemon tend to become slightly mineral in the finish. Superb Session Ale - obligatory for every Mosaic lover.

12FL OZ ($12 6/pack) fell far short of any hype. 5.5% abv is just far too low to make a dent. taste was good but over priced as always with karl strauss.

Bottle pour. Pale straw with little head, massive grapefruit hop aroma. Moderate bitterness, grapefruit strongest, pine and grass hop aroma. excellent session IPA, (or with this this subtle malt, is it a hopped up APA?) impressive from KS.

One of the sleeper gems of my trip to California. Has all the nice things you expect from Mosaic with the fruitiness and some garlicky notes. Very good.

Draught @ Karl Strauss, La Jolla. Aroma has tropical fruits and pineapples. Flavour has pineapple juice, tropical fruits and mild biscuity tones. Very juicy, refreshing and easy to drink. Mosaic is a great hop.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear golden with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are tropical fruit, citrus, and caramel - with a slightly bitter finish.

Sample at the Tehachapi Beer & Wine Festival on 07/18/2015: Clear straw-gold color with a medium white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
