Bomber at Petco Park - solid sessionable hop bomb. Not much fruit on the nose but a little citrus on the taste. Plenty of white lacing.

Bottle from Sprout’s: Poured a hazy golden liquid topped with a frothy thick layer of foam head. Aroma is fragrant with a fruity hop profile that would make any IPA lover salivate. The palate is delicate with only a minor notice of fizz across my tongue. Flavor is bitter with a big bite of green acidic hops signature to the mosaic hop. Notes of citrus peel, sweet onion, and a squeeze of grapefruit juice.

From bottle into pint glass. Pours yellow clear with just a bit of haze, large frothy white head. Stone fruit, lemon, oranges, grapefruit. Light body, medium carbonation, light sweetness, mild bitterness. Easy to drink, a tiny bit sweet otherwise, really good session ale.

I really like session beers. It seems the alcohol was on the upper side of being a session beer. The beer was very well balanced for me. Lots of citrus and just the right of bitterness to go with my sushi oriented dinner. I felt like I could have drank a six pack without getting tired of the taste. However, I did have to drive so limit was 2

95/97 seems a bit high to me as I’ve yet to have a KS beer I’d put that high, but this was solid. Higher end of the session ale spectrum for abv, average body, but a nice fruit forward (tropical) aroma and flavor. light to moderate bitterness. I do love Mosaic hops.

Draft at The Lab near USC. Slightly hazy pale yellow pour with a slight white head. Massive tropical fruit nose. Very low bitterness in the taste - nice mango and kiwi fruit hops. Quite excellent.

Type: Draft Glass: 10-oz. skinny glass From: West Coast Barbeque & Brew in La Mesa (San Diego), Calif. Price: $3.25 Purchased: March 27, 2015 Consumed: March 27, 2015 Misc.: N/A Poured a golden, pale, clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of white, rocky head when I got it. Some bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Nice looking layered, foamy lacing. Below average retention. (Sight - 4.00) Smelled Mosaic, Citra, spicy Simcoe, light grapefruit, tropical, light mango, peach and pineapple. (Smell - 4.25) The taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose. Got tropical, Mosaic, grapefruit juice, Citra, pineapple, light mango and floral (wishful?). (Taste - 3.75) Light body. Thin-to-oily texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish. This grew on me somewhat as it went down. (Feel - 4.00) Not a bad session IPA. I’d have it again for sure. (Overall - 3.88) 3.91 88 B+
