Firkin keg at Beach To Brewery. Huge oak aroma with some strong pine hops. Pours a reddish orange. Flavor is dominated by the oak up front, followed by intense pine hoppiness. Some malts balance, but this one is hop dominated. Very smooth natural carbonation. Resiny, dry, lots of stuff hangs around on the palate. This is a damn good version of this already good beer. One of the best Karl beers I have had.
