4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On draft at Breakwater Brewing. An absolute peanut butter bomb of a beer. The aroma has PB to it, the taste and finish both are loaded with chocolate and PB! Great brew!

Karl Strauss Peanut Butter Cup Porter 5.6%
Slightly darker than the maple but with a way way better nose. Great rich peanut aroma. Medium bodied with a raspy mouthfeel.
The taste is roasted peanuts, chocolate, graham and balanced. Nice stuff.

Tap at DC Hama. Wow, amazing nose. Exactly what Reeses Peanut Butter cup smells like. Huge, peanut butter and milk chocolate nose with some light vanilla and nutella notes. The body is super thin though, with average carbonation. The taste is still there, but missing the richness that would take this beer to the next level. Sweet, but not cloying. A fun dessert beer, but maybe closer to a brown ale rather than a porter.

Bottle poured dark cola brown with a light tan head and quickly dissipating lacing. Aromas of dark roasted malt, peanuts, cocoa, and vanilla. Flavor is a bit sweet with a bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very good peanut butter porter. Pours a deep black with a grey tan head. Smells of peanut butter, brittle, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is creamy, with lots of peanut butter along with vanilla and chocolate and more peanut brittle in the finish. Had on tap at Hopmonk.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Great nose just like a Reese’s peanut butter cup. Rich chocolate and peanut. Medium brown with a low head. Body and flavor are a bit of a letdown after that nose. Thin body, peanuts and chocolate. Ok, but would be better at 8% or so.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I’ve always been intrigued by peanut butter flavored beers - but usually get disuayed as they are almost universally slammed by the population as being unpalatable. But this is just fantastic, really is the perfect after dinner or desert beer. The liberal minded could also enjoy for breakfast. Great chocolate peanut butter smell as taste; a winning combination. The lowish alcohol is necessary to not overshadow these flavours. Tastes like drinking a Whittakers peanut butter chocolate block

This is what I've been looking for. It is better that the others. Has the taste of peanut butter one would expect. It isn't overly sweet. An excellently smooth beer. You have to try it.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. I’m fairly impressed by this one. It has a good peanut aroma, followed by a decent peanut flavor in the taste. The only gripe I have is that the palate was too thin. I prefer my porters to have a more substantial mouthfeel. That gripe aside well done KS.
