bread, spruce, floral, dough, leaves, banana, vanilla. I was a Fat Tire guy from Colorado before I moved to San Diego. This beer is all that Fat Tire wants to be with none of the hangover. Fat tire is a great beer but the hangovers are crushing. Not with Red Trolley

Pour this in a glass and is call it Amber Bock or Killians. Pretty bland red ale, only got it because all they had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Pours a red amber with small foam head. Aroma is malty with berry and hints of raisin. Taste is different than most beers, malty and hoppy with a sweet berry and raisin flavor finish. This beer surprised me when I first drank it, since the taste wasn’t typical. Its a good beer I will drink it again.

Bottle sample at Ran and Dale’s. Thanks Rachel! Clear red. Raspberry, cherry, then some toast in the nose. Mild bitterness, berry and then sweetness. Mild carbonation, light body. Meh.

Odd to see poor reviews of this. Great quaffable red. Aroma is that of raisins and dark fruit. Carries through to the taste with some caramel and toffee notes. Mouth feel medium but clean finish.

On tap at Karl Strauss brewing in San Diego. Very Carmel forward - took a couple of sips from my wife

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer&Beyond shop. Clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, honey, slightly oxidized and fruity. Sweet, flavors of honey, caramel, fruits, toasted bread, notes of oxidation, dry with light bitterness. Medium-bodied. Seems old.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer and Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear amber with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee and some fruitiness. The flavor is sweet and bitterish with notes of toffee, caramel, fish sauce and citrusy hops, lingering bitterness. Light to medium-bodied.

Not sure what beer the deScription is for but it is not the beer I tasted. Weak aroma of fruits and nuts, pours a clear reddish brown color with a short lasting off white head. A watery body with a weak nutty taste and a slightly fruity finish.

Bottle from Dan Murphy Wagga. Poured nice red colour but the head was thin and didn’t last too long. Nice caramel and dried fruit taste but not as strong and lasting as I would have expected after being told about this one. Easy to drink and could cause dramas with the 5.8% alcohol as it could sneak up on you if you had a few.
