Draft at the Carlsbad location. A slightly hazy amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel as well as medium nots of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish. 17 IBU’s.

From tap at the brewpub in Carlsbad. Pours cloudy hazzlenut brown with a lacing white head. Dry and malty aroma. Caramel malty and dry flavour. Slight breadish. Medium dry and mild bitter finish.

SAVOR, 12oz bottle. Small beige head atop clear dark amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some orange. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, some orange, light earthy. Light-medium body, low carbonation.
