Strong fruity/caramel scent, and a taste that corresponded with it perfectly. Slightly syrupy and nearly free of hops. Flavor that lingered on the tongue. Very good example of a hopless red ale. Went great with pizza.

Bottle: Poured an dark amber color with a little head. The aroma was sweet malts. The flavor were dark fruits, sweet malts and a thicker than normal feel in the mouth, for an amber ale. Overall, this beer was flavorful and enjoyable to drink.

Very good beer. After a day of tasting over 100 microbrews at a local beerfest, the Red Trolley was the only one I felt was worth the purchase. Easy to drink, easy to enjoy. Enjoy.

A very nice red. Pours a dark amber color, with a small among of tan head. Smells great, lots of vanilla. Taste is similar, refreshing, not too hoppy, fruit and vanilla. One of the better reds I've had. Had at tap at the Bay Area Craft Beer Festival ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a finger of head on a clear dark colored body. The aroma is rich with caramel malt notes. The taste is toffee sweetness with a touch of bitterness to balance it out. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. It’s a nice and malty ale.
