Getting notebook online. Draft at SDFOB 2007. Pours a rich amber with a medium white head. Wonderful floral aroma. Flavors of grapefruit rind, pine resins, nice malts too. A lot Very smooth and easy to drink. Very tasty!

On tap at Karlfest and Hamilton’s. Pours with an orange amber body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. It’s bitter and hoppy with notes of pine, grapefruit and hay, and has a nice underlying maltiness giving it a touch of balance. Medium bodied, smooth yet a touch dry.

Tried on tap at Green Flash Brewery. I want to say this was brewed in conjunction with two brewers from Karl Strauss. Nice 1 finger creamy microbubble head. Amber color. Nice hoppy bitterness. Hop aroma is mild relative to the bitterness. Interesting bitterness, which is not quite grapefruit. Super easy to drink pizza beer. 3.9-4.0. Overall 17-18.

Extremely hoppy, very delicious, full of flavor. You can get these at a bunch of different breweries, fresh hops.

On tap at Ballast Point. Pours a dark amber and is hoppy as you can get. I love it! Very hoppy but finishes with the right amount of malts.

On tap @ Ballast Point (Linda Vista) - Pours a clear amber color with a thin off white head. Thin lacing. Aroma is mostly pine hops with a touch of malt. Flavor is hop forward with some caramel malt to back it. Palate is slightly bitter. Medium body. Very similar to Anchor Steam. A good beer.
