Draught at Karl Strauss La Jolla: Bronze color, nose is crispy and hoppy with lemon and coriander notes. Very fresh tasting, creamy, rich with lots of pale malt. No body or any other flavor though. Thin and bitter tail.

On draft at LAX airport. Light in color, brown and gold. Medium sized bubbly head, slight lacing. Aroma has a good amount of hops with a little bit of malts. Flavor is earthy and piney, with a malt backing. Nothing too great though.

Pours yellow-orange with white head, aroma of grass, pine, some biscuit. Taste is pine, resin, grass, and flowers, biscuit middle, with a fairly bitter finish. Pretty good stuff, especially for LAX!

A decent offering, well worth the money and i’d possibly get it again. Just didn’t knock my socks off.
i never realized it was so low ABV, taste and bitterness is fairly bigger, mild residual sweetness, decent hop flavor, light aroma.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MadIndian (1901) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2010
Gift from Paul. Copper pour with thin white head. A mild grassy/pine aroma. Light tastes of pine, orange peel and caramel malts. Thin in body and no real standout charecteristics. However, it was not bad.

Tap at LAX brewpub. Light amber pour. Bright citrus hop aroma. Nice malt body with a citrus hop bitterness. Decent brew.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 alagnak (467) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - SEP 25, 2009
Draft @ LAX location. Wet earth, a little caramel and woody hops on the nose. Flavor is kind of muddled and messy, starttrs with prettty dank resiny hops, a touch of citrus and a heavy (though not really that tasty) malt backbone. Not great by any means, but there are some decent flavors in here. Drinkable beer @ LAX rates a bonus point.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cletus (6064) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 24, 2009
Pours gold with a white head. Smells of earth, tea, some spice, caramel. Tastes of toasted malt, some earthiness, spicy, light bitterness.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MrRoss (646) - Delta, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 16, 2009
Had this one at Disney’s California Adventureland, in a crappy yellow, transparent plastic tumbler. Nice to be able to have a beer in a Disney park (one at a time per customer, EVERYONE gets carded). Smallish white head, no clue as to the real colour, aroma was standard IPA. Taste and mouthfeel were okay.
4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 FrostedMug (8) - California, USA - JUL 12, 2009 does not count
Very good! Number three on my scale. Everyone knows what a good IPA is like. Stargazer is a great beer to drink between flights at the airport.
