3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A-- Poured a dark gold color. Half finger of off white head. Shows just a bit of carbonation.
S-- Somewhat muted grapefruit smell. Quite soft. Good carmel backbone, as it warms up the grapefruit does open up more.
T-- Good grapefruit bite to this. Some pine and carmel as well.
M-- Medium carbonation and medium body. Decent sized grapefruit finish to this. More pine in the front of the palate. A little acidic going down. Creamy and lively, with a little prickly added in.
D-- Gets bigger as it warms up. Not a bad IPA at all. Could have a couple easily. Not one of the elites out there but very workable and can not complain.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy gold with a white head. The nose is pine with some mild citrus. The body is medium and a little sticky with average carbonation. It has a bitter taste with a mildly dry finish.

pours a light orange with some citrus aromas, more citrus in the flavour with a subtle malt back bone, not bad at all.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A clear orange/yellow colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of fruits like citris/orange with hop. The taste is fruity like citrus, with gentle hop bitter. The aftertaste is sweet and nice bitter.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very solid IPA, pretty happy with this find. Taste is strong but fairly balanced with lingering bitterness, fruity. Would like to have more in the future.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bread and oats on the aroma. Pours a light brown with a medium sized foam. Taste is a quick, moderate bitter hops with a faint caramel and doughy malt in the back. Overall, sad excuse for an IPA. Only offers a quick bitter hop bite with pathetic malts in the back. D rating.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at friend’s place. He got this one for free--good thing. Not much going on here, nose is kinda of like unfermented wort--he said grape nuts and he was right. Flavor is bitter up front, a little grapefruit. Backend is kind of skunky. Meh.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at LAX.
Medium copper. Decent citrus nose, grass, light caramel. Flavor is somewhat sweet, with decent hops and a bit too much caramel. Noce grassy hop finish. Decent, not inspiring.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ airport in San Diego. Pours dark golden with thick head. Aroma is strong pine hops. Taste is big, bitter piney hops. Solid caramel malt body. Once the bitterness fades there are some nice faint floral and citrus hop flavors. Overall a little out of balance. The Tower 20 DIPA is not nearly as bitter and actually more balanced.
