COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mission Beach, the late 1980s. Amid a sea of neon bikinis, Tower 10 marked the spot where two college grads and a 75 year-old master brewer drew up plans for the first local craft brewery in San Diego since Prohibition. Named in honor of our first good idea, Tower 10 IPA is brewed to inspire the next one.

Tower 10 IPA boasts hops from beginning to end, and everywhere in between. We fill the brew kettle to the brim with assertive Chinook hops, giving the beer its intense grapefruit and pine flavors that linger through its dry finish. After fermentation, we dry hop with a blend of Cascade and Centennial hops for a floral citrus aroma. A touch of lightly kilned caramel malts make Tower 10 a well balanced, full flavor IPA.

Got caramel mixed with easy going citrus in aroma. Nice malty taste. Can taste grapefruit. Resinous. Maybe even biscuit. Nice bitterness. Gets better as it warms. Quality beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

7%ABV.  IPA. Poured out gold. 6ºSRM. Nose is surprisingly beery with a nice refreshing citrus aroma.  Really very inviting. Mouthfeel is soapy. Palate is solid malt with soda crackers, unsalted saltines, white toast and water biscuits.   Hops are a bit spicy with brief scallion, then cilantro then a brief spark of citrus peel then the long slide into resin, sap and pine and citrus oils. Finish is medium, bitter and pine-citrus.

Color dorado claro con capa de espuma blanca de un dedo de grosor. Carbonatación media tirando a alta.

A classic take on the style, pours a golden glass, foamy white head, spotty lace. Mild grapefruit aroma, some breadiness. Kinda creamy and refreshing on the tongue, pine, citrus, honey, notes of pepper. Nice finish, hints of tropical fruit, passion fruit.

Rating #1718 - 2015.06.02 - Bottle from San Diego - Pours a clear golden amber, aromatics of grapefruit, pinecone, orange peel. More grapefruit, citrus notes sweet and a mildly aggressive bitterness that isn’t unwarranted. Lovely stuff.

Enjoying this just down the way at Tower 12. Lemon aromas but fairly light. Piney hops flavor dominates. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Very similar to Aurora Hoppyalis. Forward, citrusy nose with above average carbonation. Strong grapefruit hop flavor. Slightly bitter finish.

Taps clear amber with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled pale buff head. Aroma is not strong, but promises fresh hops and malt. Flavor delivers evergreen, zingy hops and fresh malt plus more than a hint of grapefruit. Mouthfeel features firm body and strong, lasting fizz. Maybe not towering, but a worthy IPA.
