COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mission Beach, the late 1980s. Amid a sea of neon bikinis, Tower 10 marked the spot where two college grads and a 75 year-old master brewer drew up plans for the first local craft brewery in San Diego since Prohibition. Named in honor of our first good idea, Tower 10 IPA is brewed to inspire the next one.

Tower 10 IPA boasts hops from beginning to end, and everywhere in between. We fill the brew kettle to the brim with assertive Chinook hops, giving the beer its intense grapefruit and pine flavors that linger through its dry finish. After fermentation, we dry hop with a blend of Cascade and Centennial hops for a floral citrus aroma. A touch of lightly kilned caramel malts make Tower 10 a well balanced, full flavor IPA.

Golden in color from the tap with light floral, citrus aromas. Taste is nicely balanced with light malt flavors and hops throughout the whole drink. My favorite at Disneyland!!

Cloudy appearance with a small white head, heavy floral aroma, very hoppy, powerful tropical fruit flavours, medium body, tangy fruity sensation in the mouth followed by a good lingering bitter aftertaste.

Bottle-22oz.: Pours a clear copper head that produces more of a film rather than lacing on the inside of the glass. Aroma is faint with orange peel and malt. Flavor is more sweet than bright and is a bit muddled. Nothing crisp.Nothing really stands out. Too much caramel. Medium mouthfeel. Sticky, average carbonation.

Pours a golden color and has a foamy head. Has a strong, but not over powering, aroma of hops, citrus and spice. Taste is much of the same as the aroma. I have always been more of a dark beer drinker and did not really like IPA’s until recently. This beer has a good taste that is not over powering, but enjoyable.

Good standard IPA, not too big on hops but ok, as it would distract from mellow malts. Defiantly bitter, hoppy very nice example of a west coast IPA.

Bloody great American IPA. Great complex aroma, firm hoppy bitterness and surprisingly sessional. Goes well with spicy asian food.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Pours a deep cherry amber with no head whatsoever. Aroma is sticky sweet fruitiness which continues throughout this indulgent caramel hop flavor. This IPA seems conflicted to me, like it can’t make up ti’s mind between being a sweet and hoppy IPA or a full fledged dessert beer. It’s a jack of all trades, but a master of none. R.I.P. Stargazer.

Poured from a 20 oz bottle. Pale gold color and crystal clear. A medium, white head rises quickly and then dissipates. Nice lacing. Mild pine and citrus notes. Light bitter, not an aggressive IPA. Soft carbonation and medium body. Enjoyable and easy to drink, but not memorable.

Pours cloudy orange to golden color with a minimal head. Aroma is malt, caramel, oranges. Taste is rather dry and crisp, thin malt body. Bitterness is above medium, rather broad and long lasting. Perfect carbonation. Good IPA, but the malt body is lacking a bit.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2014 Simply a very nice all round ipa, recommended from an ipa fan, a great example of a West coast ipa
