3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear copper head that produces more of a film rather than lacing on the inside of the glass. Aroma is faint with orange peel and malt...kind of like candied citrus. Flavor is more sweet than bright...and is a bit muddled. Nothing crisp...nothing really stands out. Too much caramel. Medium mouthfeel. Average.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pint from tap at Cosmo’s in Old Town. Solid IPA here but not standout. It’s packing a respectable grassy hoppiness with a dash of citrus and herbs. Bitterness is even throughout and has a decently dry finish. Malts add appropriate bready balance and I find woody flavors here and there. Decent.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
355ml bottle. Great IPA and a good story behind the name. Lots of piney citrus hop notes and flavours with a full hopped up mouthfeel. Mild bitterness with lots of pine on the palate.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours with an orange-amber body topped by a thick head with little lacing left on the glass. The aroma is nice...full of fresh green hop notes and light notes of orange. The flavor is citrusy (predominantly orange) with sweet notes, a little underlying hops and a note of alcohol. Kinda reminds me of a screwdriver. medium bodied, smooth and a bit dry.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
[on tap at Napa Rose, Disneyland]
Citrusy and slightly spicy hops aroma with some caramel. Clear amber under a lasting, off-white cover. Potent west coast hops flavour with sweet caramel and gentle bitterness that thankfully doesn’t numb your tongue. Delicate, for an IPA. Medium body, medium carbonation, sweet and slightly bitter finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle thanks to the tick loving bhensonb. poured a nice amberish gold with a soapy white head and some lace. aroma had a strong malt backbone and maybe a bit of cereal or biscuit and the smallest hint of pine. flavor was grass, alcohol (like cheap vodka), pine and some caramel. medium body with medium carbonation. thanks bill for yet another step to 1000.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
11 feb 2012, tap. Light yellow, clear, some bubbles. Grapefruit ring and melon. Bitter but mellow. Thin body, lightly fuzzy and a tad oily. Very astringent, bitter, resiny hops. No malt, just hops. A decent west coast IPA
