3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle brought from CA by my neighbor. When it was too cold, it was really unpleasant, but as it warmed the orange/citrus came through better. Hoppy but not over the top and doesnít rise above the other Imperial IPAs Iíve had lately. Bottle.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber purchased at Bine & Vine ($7.49). Pours a slightly hazy red / dark amber color with two fingers of off-white foam. Aroma does not exactly jump out but there are notes of pine, honey, and a bit of citrus. Flavor of smooth caramel with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, and herbs. The sweetness trumps the bitterness here. The high ABV is quite well hidden here. A very malt-forward and not very complex DIPA, but I still find this highly quaffable. (24, 734)
