Aug 13, 2008 Sampler on tap at downntown San Diego brewpub. A little yeasty aroma, yeasty flavor, with some tropical fruit notes. Looks and pours like any other hefe. Interesting take on the style.

Aug 6, 2008 From tap at the brewpub in Carlsbad. Pours hazy to murky yellow with a lacing white head. Fruity estery banana and wheat aroma. Fruity and wheaty flavour, classic clean and banana fruity. Lingering banana fruity finish. Goes a bit dryer in the finish.

Jun 16, 2008 Tap. A very nice hefe. Pours a cloudy gold with a thick white head. Nice strong aroma of banana, clove, and wheat. The taste follows through big time. Great balance, with both the clove and banana yeast esters shining on their own. A nice lemony finish.
