3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Taster at La Jolla location. Pours a heavily clouded golden yellow colour with a thin white head. Aroma is of banana and clove, with a little yeast. Taste has no bitterness and a muted sweetness. Light body, thin on the palate and standard carbonation for a wheat beer. Overall a fine wheat beer, but nothing special.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Wheaty base, banana fruity and yeasty notes, and a hint of bubblegum. Not bad, but definitely overcarbonated. A rare "1" on palate from me.

Decent, but too sweet for a hot day

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Steam Haus Gastropub in Corona, CA. KS. Hazy gold pour, glowing, with minimal foam. Nice estery nose, more yellow apple than expected and certainly more hefeweizen than American wheat. Taste is chalky and vegetal... overripe with diacetyl. As it warms, it gains some lemon acid, yellow apple cider character. It’s certainly drinkable, just has a few off flavors.

Pours a hazy golden with sparse head. Light aroma somewhat of wet leather and old fruits. Odd taste - hard to place the flavors. Apricot / pear? Average. Nothing special.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
~16 oz draft at California Adventure in Anaheim, California. The pour is a cloudy white yellow with a smallish white head. The aroma is grain wheat, light citrus, and a fair amount of clove banana yeast. The taste is a nice balance between the grain wheat, the zest of the lemon and finishes with the Hefe yeast notes. Decently clean flavors. The palate is medium to light bodied, pleasantly unfiltered mouth feel and clove banana and earth wheat in the finish. Hit the spot.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: classic wheat, banana, and clove
Palate: tingling attack of carbonation.
Flavor: Like the aroma. Finishes with a touch of bitterness.
Comment: I’ve had a number of German wheat beers lately and this seems fairly authentic. The carbonation is more lively and finish is a bit drier and more bitter than the German ones I’ve had but this is alright. A decent version of a Bavarian wheat beer. Given the light body, it would go well with food.
