Sample at the Sorrento Valley location. The beer pours clear gold with a thin white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grainy malt and mildly spiced hops. Light-bodied with pale malt and light hops and spice flavors. The finish is bready malt with a light hops aftertaste. Average overall.

So tough to add comments of value when there just arenít many intriguing things to say about a beer. Light gold color, faint malt aroma, watery bitterness. Avoid.

(Bottle) Bohemian Pilsener? Heck no. Drinkable? Heck yes. This beer is grossly miscategorized: very little bitterness, hops, and the character of the malt is not grassy and clear like in the Pilseners. This tastes more like any number of other styles...itís light, but not that crisp and refreshing. Too bland for me.

Pours mostly clear light gold with a bubbly white head. Bready aroma with some metal and grass. No Noble hops to speak of. Sweet with a small hop bitterness with a dry finish. Nice little beer.

Poured clear golden yellow with a pillowy head that left decent lacing. Not as hoppy as I expected on the nose; mostly malty breads and biscuits. Taste mirrored the smell, but included a touch of floral hops. Soft mouthfeel, well carbonated, would make a good session beer. One of the best labels Iíve ever seen.

Very impressed with this pilsener. Has to be compared to other pilseners and not heavier beers, but in itís own class - very good. Medium body and bright taste.

Smells okay. A little ricy. This is okay at best but just seems a little funky and too much like a pale lager to me.

12oz bottle. Clear gold with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with some cereal and floral hops. Simple sweet flavor with just a little hop spice. Just enough bitterness to cut the sweetness, but not really noticeable. Light body. A good, easy drinking summer beer.

draft - Pours clear yellow with a thin white head and a light pale malt aroma. The flavor is very mild on the hops for the style. Still, the bready malts are at least nice, which makes this light bodied brew drinkable.
