Pours a typical golden but caries an amazing aroma of malt and hops, the taste was very sweet and malty followed by a refreshing hop bitterness. While definitely not the best beer in the world it definitely is refreshing and beats the hell out of budweiser

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2012 Clear golden, white head. Grainy aroma, grainy palate with a whiff of floral and grassy hops in the finish. Pretty ordinary.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Saaz like hoppy aroma with some sweetness and light diacetyl. The flavor has husky straw like malts, light saaz hops, and a hint of diacetyl. Not bad.

Tap, LAX. Pours looking like a regular macro lager, with a very light yellow hue and a short-lived white head. Sweet graininess in the aroma and unfortunately in the flavor as well. Husk, sweet corn, and really failing to pick up any real hop presence. Very thin body with bubbly carbonation. Messy and bland.

On draft at LAX airport. Very light in color, bubbly head, no lacing. Aroma has a slight malty base with a touch of spice. Flavor is a little malty but very bland.

Taster at Sorrento Mesa location: Golden amber color with a small white head. Grassy grainy aroma. Flavor is grainy and seltzer like with light dry spicy hop finish. Light -medium body has moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Pale yellow color with straw head. Flavor is pale malts, straw, light grains, a bit of sugary sweetness. Just a whiff of hops at the back end to finish it off. Pretty nondescript, not much different than most pale lagers.

Pours clear straw yellow with a medium sized, fizzy white head that leaves specks of lace. Smells grainy and cereal malty, sweet. Tastes the same. Cereal malty, lightly sweet, hint of honey. Grainy, maybe a touch of green hops. Light/medium body, good carbonation.

On tap at the Universal location. Pours with a clear golden body and a white head. Aroma of crackers, biscuit, salty, grainy and a light acidic note. Flavor is salty, bready, raw barley, with zero sweetness. Dry with lively carbonation.

This was a nice pilsner beer with good hopping and a nice flavor. Good initial offering for me from Karl.

This is a $8 rating, because the only reason I tried this is because it was at a concert. Clear gold, white head. Grainy malt, light sweet and lightly hoppy. Middle of the road beer, nothing special.
