COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beneath the tides off Mission Beach rests Wreck Alley – a dark and mysterious seascape of forgotten ships. Amidst the rusted wreckage is a marine ecosystem, an artificial reef teeming with life. Our Wreck Alley is as dark as the depths of its namesake, an Imperial Stout of uncharted complexity. Brewed with darkly kilned malts, cocoa nibs, and Ethiopian coffee beans, Wreck Alley boasts rich layers of dark chocolate, toffee, and espresso-like roast. Save a bottle. This one has a stout shelf-life.

Coffee aroma, with roasted grain, bread, caramel Pours pitch black with creamy lasting tan head Coffee flavor with cocoa, bread and caramel, woody earthy notes Medium full bodied with medium co2, lasting coffee bitterness. Enjoyable coffee stout. Not overpowering in any particular flavor. Well balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jet black beer with almost no head. Aroma: burned malts. Not just roasted, burned, ashy notes. Than coffe and cocoa. Taste: strongly burned coffe, dark cocoa, licorie, ashy notes. Big sweet, medium bitter. Very long aftertaste. Palate: full body, oily, thick, low carbonation. Not as thick as some best scandinavian RISes. Overall: very good, very solid Imperial Stout. Would love to try again

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Nr Gent, Belgie. Consumed at Cliff House Campsite, Dunwich, Friday ’Christmas Day’ 25th December 2015 Lots of coffee coming across on the nose, but there is a light sour edge also. Slightly sour in the mouth (unsure if this is intentional) its fruity but lacks depth and complexity, not silky smooth, it’s ok but not what we expect from an Imperial Stout, in fact we couldn’t finish this.
