UPDATED: JUL 6, 2016 Aromat: slodowy, lekko rozpuszczalnik i/lub zielone jablko oraz zelazo . Wyglad: klarowne jasno zlote, piana szybko znika do cienkiej warstewki. Smak: kwaskowe, lekko slodkawe metaliczny posmak, goryczka niska. Odczucie w ustach : lekko sciagajace, lekkie wysycenie wysokie. 33cl bottle@home in lager glass@approx 5 degrees C. Pours clear yellow with white head with sufficient retention. Aroma of malt and hay. Taste of typical Danish Gold Beer - clean, malt dominated lager, a little on the sweet side but with a little bitterness coming in in the aftertaste. No off tastes and a good thirst quencher, but nothing particular to recommend it except it’s low price. No better or worse that the Carlsberg competitors Sort Guld and Guld Tuborg.

Copenhagen 12/4 2015. 33 cl bottle from Lidl. Pours clear yellow with white head. Subsides to thin lacing. Aroma is a bit sour and tinged with alcohol in order too deserve the byline "Gold Beer". Medium carbonation. Taste is malty and sour and some alcohol. Serves it purpose but without any charm.

330 ml bottle, as Karlens Guldøl Danish Premium. ABV is 5.6%. Ingredients include maize and glucose syrup. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly strong and sweetish grassy aroma. The flavour is not quite as sweet as I feared, and has a certain "crispness" that makes it quite drinkable, even if the hops are very moderate. Being a discount beer, this is not, after all, the definite bog standard.
