Decent lager/pilsner in all departments. However, the Czechs definately do this better. I’d take one of theirs over this. Good though.

Oct 2, 2008 bottle. light orange in color with very little head. has a very berry aroma. bit of a fruitty flavor with no real bite.

Oct 2, 2008 Golden color with a white head. Lots of bubbles. Citrus aroma. Watery malt flavor with a hint of corn to it. A little carbonation with a crisp finish to it that left a bland malt aftertaste.

Sep 27, 2008 Pours like a slightly carbonated, dark-colored riesling. Smells like creamed corn, wheat, and a bit of the classic cheapass foreign beer. Tastes (astoundingly) like most of the beer I had in South America - metallic, cheap, and uninspired. Not that you can really expect more from something that’s likely sold in (and drunk in) bulk. But not something I’d pick up if I had other options.

Sep 27, 2008 500ml from Big Star in Seattle. An old standby from my times in the Balkans... one of the better ones there (though Peja from Kosovo is by far the best!). Golden lager look with thin/cream head. Malt/honey and creamed corn nose, taste of alcohol on the mouth, still sweet. crisp enough, fudgy finish. Great for a nostalgia trip
