2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a yellow colour with no head. Slightly more hoppy nose than most other pale lagers I’ve tried. Again the flavour is slightly more hopped up than a typical pale lager and as a result makes this beer not quite offensive.

2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330 ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with a frothy white head. Very aromatic, which is this beer’s best quality. After that its all downhill. Over-carbonated with very little flavor and a weird, bitter aftertaste. Not worth another try.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Standard appearance of golden body under white head. Musty, malted aromas and flavor with a metallic ending.
(My shortest review yet!)

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a golden body and a thick white head. The aroma is sweet with malts and golden buttered corn, grassy / lightly soapy. A hint of honey and lemongrass in the flavor… basically… this beer sucks!

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
09.11.05 500ml brown bottle. Pale golden pour, pretty color, but limp. Tall and promising white head is frothy and dense, but before you know it, it’s gone. Aroma is mildly hoppy, corn, and paste. Metallic, bitter, and thin with a perfume or soapy hop thing at the finish. This is not good.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2009 Poured from the bottle, a pale straw yellow with a thin filmy head and a fair bit of carbonation evident. A grassy hoppy aroma. Sharp and bitter in the mouth - a typical lager, but better than most in Croatia.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Heineken eh? Should have guessed. Fairly standard pale larger style. Light copper / amber in the glass with tin , disappointing head. Macro nose...nothing to write home about. Whatever flavour may have been promised on the nose disappears in the mouth. Nice fizzy style for summer perhaps? Not much else happening.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.5 L bottle, bbe Jan 06. Clear dark golden, weak sparkling. Weak white head composed of big bubbles, collapsing quickly. Gentle floral aroma, slightly bitter with a metallic note. A mild and unassertive, yet rich and fruity taste with a touch of honey and (sadly) some metal. A bit watery palate, but good fizziness.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Canned) Paleish golden with a small, bright white head. Mild, very neutral, slightly hay-grassy-hoppy aroma. Reasonably malty and hoppy, neutral flavor. Light to medium-bodied, neutral palate with balanced carbonation. This brew is so neutral and balanced, that it’s almost scary. This is a brew that doesn’t surprise you in any way. Very easily drinkable, very neutral, somewhat hoppy (but not too intrusive), ... A good quality, very basic brew - what more can you say?

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle (500ml). Poured clear brassy yellow with a fizzy white head. Harsh vegetal aroma, dry straw and pond water, wet newsprint and/or dog. Taste is pretty much nothing - slightly sweet mild hay and other grains, some floral notes, gets metallic on warming. Quick diminish, but there’s a nasty aftertaste here. Watery mouthfeel. Agree with ante - typical S.I.L. Rate it, pour it, and move on.
