UPDATED: JAN 21, 2010 Excellent Lager. Great hops aroma, bitterly deep and floral. Malty. One of the best European lagers that I’ve tried and I’ve tried many.

It’s very good beer. Also in summer 2010 they dropped from 11,9° to 11,6° and 5%

I love this beer, it’s one of the reasons Josef is coming to Croatia for holiday! The taste is comparable to Carlsberg with a slight taste of oak.

Wonderful beer... haven’t tried any in the states yet, although brought a bottle back from Pula. It seemed to be everywhere, but it was a strong beer with a great flavor to it. Not refined, but def. lovely. Wish I had taken more bottles back, b/c US version is only 5%. Unlike the 8+ of the real stuff.

This is a really good beer. I can only wish budwieser was this good. Aroma was of light grain, huge citrus hoppiness, nice bittersweet flavor. Appearance was unimpressive, typical gold with fizzy white head.

Poured nice gold color with a generous stiff white head. Aromas of grain, hops, straw. Taste of slighty sour malt, mild hops, yeast. Reminded me of many now-gone American beers from my youth - Schmidts, Ortieb, and Shaefer and Carling come to mind. It’s not the greatest, and it’s between a lager and a pilsener in character. There are better examples of both but if it’s Karlovacko or Bud Light, go with the K.

For me the best of the three big brewerie beers in Croatia. Orange colour, with hopy and malty aroma, but not to bitter

Karlovasco is one of the two market leaders in croatia. It is a pale larger beer with a bit stronger taste. By far the best of croatia, but unfortunately it is loosing popularity. Comparable with lasko in slovenia.
