330 ml bottle in Germany. As others have said this is a surprise from this berwery for sure. I am not a fan of Karlsberg at all but this was very nice. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Flavor is sweet, carmel/malt, with a great flavor. Palate is also very nice. Probably the best beer by Karlsberg. Kirner did exactly the same with thier Bock as well.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tjthresh (1858) - Greenfield, Indiana, USA - MAY 8, 2006
Poured into a tankard. Pourd kind of a reddish, brownish, ruby garnet color with a think tan head. Rather bready aroma. Typical imported smell. Dry caramel on the palate. Very little hop character, and very clean fermentation character. Finishes with a bit of roasted bitterness. Easy to drink. Thanks to Saarlander.
