2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
33cl stubby bottle: poured light golden yellow with no head. Little aroma other than light hops. Flavor is fairly thin. Mostly mildly bitter hops with a touch of corn and grassiness. Decent I guess.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Canned corn nose, yellow color, low clingy head. Quick malt gives way to a tight, high hop bitterness. Somewhat detergent-like.Thin and weak.

Bottle, 33cl. Golden color pour, with a medium sized head. Hoppy aroma, a little skunky. A cheap pilsener.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. Fresh hoppy nose. Golden poour and good white head from the spritz. Zingy hop taste, starts a little grassy and stays a little watery. Decent if for the bitterness, otherwise, not exciting.

4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Great pils. Good flavor and apperance. I was a bit surprised when I read some of the negative comments. Especially, comments that started with "another crappy German" which indicates that the drinker was more concerned with his/her dislike for anything German rather than providing an honest objective opinion of a beer experience. Urpils is a good solid performer.

Tap Hotel Koelchen, Bernkastel-Kues. Tulip-shaped glass. Just a bit of hops and soap in the aroma. Soapy, flowery flavor with hints of boiled milk. Soapy bitter aftertaste.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Crystal gold, thin white head. Noble hops in the nose, lightly toasted malt. A bit tart at first, then toasted malt, herbal hops. Ok.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A light yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet spicy and the flavor is malt and spicy with a bitter end.
