Bottle. Pale golden clear colour with a weak head. Malty aroma of grass and some grains. Metallic flavour with notes of malt and grains.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2006 I liked its honney flavor, the colour is a little pale but yellow, almost no bubbles but a lot of foam.

On tap in France. Clear golden colour, white head. Skunky smell, cardboard, malts. Taste is skunky, slightly bitter, cardboard. Not good at all.

Mini keg thingy, from Somefield, Syston, Leicester. Tricky to pour with this contraption, and gets squirted out at a pedestrian rate: thus I’m in receipt of pint with a massive head. Slightly cloudy yellow below the white. Nice enough Pils, slightly sour, with a standard malt base, and perhaps a hint of wheat. Actually fairly pleasant, and refreshing.

Draft, in Cafe in Paris. Classic larger with all the trim. Made a little sexier then it was by the glassware and the bohemian crowd.

Bright yellow color, with an off-white head, pale malt, fresh straw, toasted dough aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp crystal malt accent, with a grainy, toasty character, nutty note, leading towards a sweet malty and faintly hops finish.

A malty pilsener not an ale. Not very characteristic nor interesting. A quite heavy brew but still drinkable. Pretty much like the Edel-pils from the same brewery.

mjg74 (2106) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 21, 2006
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2006 Bottle from Big! Lots. Pours a medium golden color with no head to speak of. Slightly sweet and fruity aroma a bit of grain and malt. Slightly bitter grainy flavor, a little creamy. Bittler finish. Not bad. But not too good.
