Karlskrone Altbier

Bottled, thanks Bov! Copper colour, average head. Roasty butter aroma. Sweet and mellow with offputting burnt vegetable flavour and plenty of butyric acid. Oddly funky and really awful.

Brewed in Belgium for Aldi, in compliance with German Reinheitsgebot, bottled in PET, clear amber/brown, little head, roasty/smokey malt, some hops, medium bitterness, light to medium body, lingering bitter finish, slightly unbalanced. Not too bad with food.

Plastic-Bottled. Clear amber colour. Bubbly medium head. Slightly roastmalty, but weak aroma. Malty, rather dry with a little hoppiness. Actually not that bad. I´ve had worse alts.
