0,5l plastic bottle from Aldi. Neutral grainy sweetish beginning. Not much bitterness, grain, bread and sweetish malty. Somehow unround...

Bouteille en plastique du aldi. Couleur jaune dorée, légère mousse. Nez malté notes assez douces. Gout a peine malté céréales, très rapide et aqueux, bref quasiment aucun gout.

Pours a light yellow color, clear, topped with a medium white frothy head, no real retention. Malty aroma, some grains and that’s it - mild alltogether. Taste is sweet, light and just a slightly watery body, malty with minimal final bitterness. Not the best example of a lager. No real taste to it.

Clear yellow appearance with medium head. Malty, poor, not overly appealing.

Pet Bottle: Served in a Wine glass: Lively white head, disappears fairly quick and leaves a thin very small island floathing on top of a clear bright golden colored beer. Aroma is pretty skunked: malts, marijana, herbs, weed, some peanut butter, some grains and old hops. Very light an dull aroma overpowered by the skunkyness. Flavours of malts, herbs, bitters, malty wood, tea herbs, old hops, chalky bark and some grains but all very light combined and very light mixed... Aftertaste is a mix of hay, grains, malts, light bitter, light floral, dull... Low to medium carbo, creamy mouthfeel, low bodied and a creamy texture. There’s even a hint if skunkyness in the taste. It’s dull and unbalanced, thus boring. But what does one expect with a clear Pet bottle...

Light golden colour with steady head and crisp body. Nose of cornflakes. Taste of lemon curd, malt, mild beer, cereals and porridge. Easy to drink, no bitter or metallic finish at all, but not really nice.

Brewed for the german supermarket chain Aldi. Bought at Germany, only beer available at that supermarket. Clear plastic bottle with a screw cap, that carries 0.25 euros deposit. Price of the actual beer was a bit more than that. ABV 4,9%. Poured into a pint glass. Deep golden colour with one and a half finger of white, soapy head, with average retention. Left some light lacing behind once gone. Medium activity in the glass. Typical lager smell, maltywith some stale bread notes. Ugh..! Tastes like wort, and the old bread has moved onto the taste too. Not nice. Meduim on the body with average to high carbonation. Well, I don’t think I’ll buy it again.
